Eight injured in firing along Assam-Arunachal border over land dispute
At least eight people were injured after unidentified miscreants allegedly opened fire on residents of Assam in Dhemaji district along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border. Police said the firing at Mingmang Basti followed a dispute over alleged encroachment on Assam land by people from Arunachal Pradesh.
